WestWind Energy Senior Executive Tobias

Tobias Geiger

Managing Director 

With more than 30 years’ experience in the wind energy sector in both Germany and Australia, Tobi is the Managing Director of WestWind Energy Pty Ltd. He has led the organisation since 2004. 

Tobi holds a Bachelor in Aerospace Engineering and is a Chartered Professional Engineer. He is a Member of Engineers Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. 

WestWind Energy Senior Executive Marla

Marla Brauer

Chief Development Officer

As Chief Development Officer at WestWind Energy, Marla is responsible for business operations and the project development pipeline. She has worked in wind farm development in Australia for close to a decade. 

With a Master of Business Administration, Marla is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Angela Stringer

Chief Operating Officer

With strong leadership and operational experience built over decades in the consulting industry, Angela joined WestWind Energy in October 2023.  

She holds a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management and a Graduate Diploma of Management from the Australian Institute of Business.

WestWind Energy Senior Executive Dave Plunkett

David Plunkett

Head of Legal and Commercial

Joining WestWind Energy in December 2022, David has more than 20 years’ experience as a General Counsel across several industries, including 5 years as Head of Legal and Commercial in the renewable energy industry.  

David holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB). He has advised on all aspects of renewable energy projects including project financing, EPC contracts, connection arrangements, landowner agreements, power purchase agreements, and equity arrangements.  

WestWind Energy Senior Executive Tim Clifton

Tim Clifton

Head of Engineering & Technology

Joining WestWind in 2018, Tim has over 5 years’ experience in technology and civil engineering. He has worked on the development of significant projects including Golden Plains Wind Farm.

Since then, he has expanded his expertise across several states and has developed a team of highly skilled technical experts. Tim holds a Masters in Civil Engineering.

WestWind Energy Senior Executive Jackson Hill

Jackson Hill

Head of Delivery and Asset Management  

Joining WestWind Energy in November 2022, Jackson is a general manager with more than 20 years’ experience in all aspects of asset management, including wind farms and aviation in both contractor and client-side capacity.  

He holds a Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering and a Master of Management. In the past, Jackson worked for Vestas managing their fleet of windfarms throughout Australia and Asia with a capacity of more than 6 gigawatts.

Mark Hudson

Head of Land Tenure, Engagement & Communications

Mark Hudson joined WestWind in January 2023. His experience in project development and engagement spans the renewables, disability and social housing sectors.

Mark is MBA qualified with a passion for authentic community and stakeholder engagement to drive positive long term environmental, social and economic outcomes.

WestWind Energy Senior Executive Michael Jones

Michael Jones

Head of Network & Transmission Development

Joining WestWind in May 2023, Michael is a developer with 20 years’ experience and has held a range of leadership roles across the energy, retail, and industrial sectors.

Michael holds qualifications in Urban Planning, Property Economics, Project Management and Surveying. His experience covers the full spectrum of project and portfolio development, from origination through commercial management, land tenure, community engagement, permitting and into construction.

WestWind Energy Senior Executive Andrew Crack

Andrew Crack

Head of Planning & Environment  

Joining WestWind in June 2024 in the new role of Head of Planning & Environment, Andrew brings more than 30 years’ experience in professional planning to the team.

With broad expertise in land use and development planning acquired across senior roles in both local government and private sectors in Victoria, Andrew holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Planning, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Grad Dip in Legal Practice.
