Learning about injury awareness and prevention with medical professionals
Students from Warracknabeal, Horsham and Nhill participated in the Prevent Alcohol and Risk‐Related Trauma in Youth (P.A.R.T.Y.) program.
The P.A.R.T.Y. at The Alfred Program provides an engaging and authentic experience for participants. Creating insight into the consequences that patients and their families have faced due to risk‐related trauma.
The interactive program raises injury awareness and prevention with true stories that highlight the impact of injuries.
The students got to meet with emergency and trauma specialists, burns specialists, and a multi trauma patient talking about his experience.
We were honoured to support and participate in events like the P.A.R.T.Y Program, bringing real-life learnings to regional youth.
