We are committed to engaging early and openly with neighbours so we can understand and address any queries or concerns you may have about a proposed development.
By working together, we can best understand your needs and priorities and, where possible, implement feasible solutions.
When a project is operational, we establish community benefit schemes to ensure the community share in the financial benefits of the project.
Billions in the bush: Renewable energy for regional prosperity
Renewables are not only keeping the lights on as coal plants reach the end of their technical life, but they’re also creating jobs and alternative income streams and benefits right across Australian communities.
Analysis by the Clean Energy Council and Farmers for Climate Action estimates that large-scale renewable energy projects will deliver $1 billion to farmers and $200 million to regional communities by 2030.
By 2050, landholders could receive from $7.7 billion to $9.7 billion, with regional communities and councils receiving up to $1.9 billion from renewable energy projects.
