Roma’s youngest community members learn about the power of wind

Roma State College welcomed local families to Under 8s Day. The event featured fun activities for the kids, including face painting, rock painting, Lego building and biscuit icing.

Pictured is our Community Liaison Meryl Brumpton, who was at the event spending time with the local children, creating more than 90 pinwheels for the kids to take home.

Older kids learned about the power of both the sun and the wind with the solar-powered turbine at our stand.

The day was a fantastic opportunity for the kids to learn about renewable energy, as they are the coming generations that will benefit from it most in the future.

Congrats to Roma State College for putting on such an amazing event! We were delighted to be part of it.
