Congratulations to the organisers of this year’s Western Victorian Careers Expo near Horsham.

There was a great turnout with hundreds of students attending from 28 schools across western Victoria – from Sea Lake in the north to Lake Bolac in the south, and Charlton in the east to Kaniva in the west.

WestWind was proud to help sponsor the Expo.

With an estimated 40,000 new jobs required for Australia’s renewable energy sector over the coming decade – many of them regional – it’s important to share information about career possibilities with tomorrow’s workforce.

Our team really enjoyed talking with many students. And some lucky attendees even had the chance to take a tour inside a wind turbine right to its top (courtesy of VR goggles from Vestas)!
