What are access tracks?

Access tracks are required to support delivery of turbine components and to ensure all weather access during the operational life of the wind farm. Host landholders also have rights to use these tracks when not in use by the wind farm. The access track layout is completed in consultation with the landholder with consideration given to existing and future land uses.

When the wind farm is decommissioned, the landholder can choose to retain the access tracks rather than have them removed if they are considered useful.
