When the community benefits scheme is established for the project, we will consult with local community representatives and will form a Community Reference Group to formally advise on how the funds should be allocated. The final decision on the distribution of the funding is at the discretion of the wind farm operator. This is to ensure the funding distributions align with governance and compliance requirements of the wind farm owner.
